If there is one Ozmozis event that is mandatory for everyone to attend, it would be this one. Together, Henry Saiz and Marc Marzenit are a powerful force that cannot be reckoned with; they toy with one’s inner emotions to the point where one will lose control.

I remember the first time I saw Henry Saiz. It was at Toika before the renovations in November 2013. He played live alongside his partner, Luis, with a piano, drums, and guitar set up. I will also never forget his Into the Labyrinth Sunset Cruise in July 2014; both nights were purely magical.

His style combines his love for art and all things electronic with a sound that is influenced on a perfect balance of disco, house, techno, and electronica. As a sound engineer, Saiz has full control over his meticulous creations and integrates these techniques into his live sets and his podcasts, The Labyrinth/ El Laberinto de Henry Saiz en Radio 3.

As a label owner, Saiz still finds the time to develop new artists under the Natura Sonoris brand as a reflection in each release of art. His albums, Reality Addendum and Reality Is For Those Who Are Not Strong Enough To Confront Their Dreams have done exceptionally well and takes listeners on a journey through his mystical electronica mind.

Be sure to look out for his newest Hal Incandenza album which is said be released by the end of the year.

Marc Marzenit made his Toronto debut this past January for his To Love Until We Say Goodbye tour. The classically trained Techno connoisseur created his side project, Suite on Clouds in 2011 that consisted of a 3D mapping show with 1 harp, 8 violinists, a grand piano, symphonic percussion and synths. This project incorporated acoustic and digital instruments that showcased his intimate and eclectic music style.

The Paradigma Musik label owner projects his intricate emotions in tracks such as Perron , Run White, and Mystery Ocean. It is inevitable that his sensual spin to techno gives listeners a reason to stay tuned.

Again, I cannot stress enough that this will be the event of the year. Despite the fact that it’s Halloween, the music that will be played on Friday will overwhelm your heart, cure your soul, and boggle your mind. Don’t miss out.
